I still have the "guailo" syndrome.
European kids are far-sighted. But this far-sightedness is not the normal "lao hua yan" old people have. People with this problem can't see stuff far away nor near. Haha. Weird la. So yeah, far-sighted I am. Since primary school same problem.

Uncle James told me I'll be easily tired if I read stuff cos of some problem. I said I don't know. In school, I don't keep awake in lessons long enough to know I get tired easily if reading cos I strain my brain or something.

I think I'm gong crazy. I thought about death today.

The only things I remember that happened today in school.

1. GP movie screening of some Tom Cruise show. Daunting. I don't want to live like that in future. I forgot the title but it's about 3 odd people who dream the future and all the people who get murdered and Tom Cruise, the head of some police pre-crime department leading his men to stop the murders before they happen. Unfortunately the weird dreaming people dreamt that he would kill someone. So yeah essentially the show's about him running away from his own department I think.

2. My class pissing me off after their actions show they did not hear any of my announcements regarding geog class. Right after econs when the class was still hushed, I shouted that geog would start at 10 and the venue was yet to be confirmed. Later in the cafe I said the venue was G202 but at 930 people thought geog class was starting. And when we were walking up to class at 10,
some didn't know where the venue was. My class told me I should make announcements and make sure people heard. What the toots I shouted twice in econs and in the cafe.

Collecting and handing out notes, collecting the money to even collect the notes, disseminating information and taking attendance occasionally is not as easy as it sounds. I don't really want to be the geog rep, I've said it since day 1 of school this year. But I bet no one heard me.

3. Getting back math BTs. I'm appalled at my grades and I'm sickened by the way some classmates can be so insensitive.

I dont really like school anymore. Besides A levels, there is nothing that gives me reason to drag myself out of bed every day at 6 in the morning. I used to get up for school for more than the reason of A levels. But now I'm not sure that that other reason is existant anymore.

My heart hurts. Literally. Again.

What a day.

I'm definitely over my 'summer crush'.

I just had to get that out. So that people who know who that is, know my feelings now. Haha.

Now I understand what you meant that day -we talked quite a bit after math consultation- when she told you she didn't even consider nor thought about it. (You know what I'm talking about.) I understand all her reasons and I dont blame her. It's damn right true. Haha.

I slept in EVERY class I had today. All 3, though I slept more last night. Today I'll finish up my work quick and sleep before 1130.

Today at PS, we walked around the mall and while daddy sent the uZAP for repairs at best denki, mummy was right opposite at oto buying the oto version of uzap. the TRIMAX. Daddy's colleage said he tried both and oto's better. yayes. haha.

I enjoyed myself much more yesterday at comms ball than at the social term dinner cos daddy could spend time with me instead of running around everywhere settling everything.

Dance in the morning was super slack. One of the slackest we've ever had. I guess no one was in the mood for practice. Germ's 2 minute break extended to 20 minutes and I had the opportunity to sleep right in the middle of the studio. Heh.

Ate lunch before going home and left again to Bishan to do make up and hair.

Shiseido did a very nice job. My face was like porcelain. Initially I wasnt used to it but it grew on me after a while. Yay I'm going back there for more make overs in future. Haha.

Claire came late so I went first and after she had finished hers we went back to the area around my condo and we did our hair. Nice nice. =) I didn't expect my hair to look so professionally done. Doesn't matter anyway. Everyone at the ball had their hair made up formal so I wasn't left out haha.

daddy went to my house early, I wasn't even home. But Cheryl's efficient, I changed quickly and took my ready packed clutch and left. =)

Shangrila is pretty and looked really grand. The service the staff gave was excellent. They greeted everyone like kings. Haha!

Met a lot of daddy's friends, platoon mates, buddies and all. Saw a few of the same people I saw at the social term dinner. Josia was there too. daddy and I walked around the bravo wing side and found him near Claire's table.

The flying dutchman was our MC. I think he's funny. Haha. He's gonna be talking about Bala tomorrow at 810 in the morning. Aw man I want to hear it haha.

Took quite a few pictures but I decided that I look ugly in them. Haha sorry Jo.

I asked mummy for money to buy accessories. And she barked at me and told me off.

I told her the only difference whether she gave me money or not was whose money I would be spending first. I either spent my money first and claimed from daddy later or I spent her money and gave her daddy's money later.

Then I left the house.

And I got money from daddy who sent me to the MRT station. Haha.

But mummy found out and she called me to scream somemore over the phone. She told me I better bring back the same amount home or I "don't come home".

I hung up.

Then on purpose, I spent all the money I had been given. And more. I'm claiming it no worries.

$16 on the accessories, $21 on dinner at the mussel guys, $7 on Haagen Daz, $9.50 on the leap years and more on snacks. Haha I enjoyed every minute of it. =)

Cheryl is a rebellious person. I admit, this is wrong, don't learn from me.

But I hate it when people don't stick to their word.

When I told daddy I spent money on a dress, he said he'll pay for the rest when I said I still wanted to go shopping for shoes clutch and accessories.

Now mummy says his money is her money. So don't waste money on unnecessary stuff.

If I could I won't spend the money. I tried borrowing but some stuff didn't work out like the 2 dresses borrowed didn't fit properly. The 2 clutches I borrowed were either too heavy or too small. Nobody's feet is my size. So what the toots am I supposed to do?

Only when we go shopping together then it's fine. When I shop with other people it's wasting money?

What sense.

Through experiences like this I learn that parents sometimes cannot be trusted with words that come out of their mouths.

I love my very encouraging, motivating, trustworthy and reliable parents.

The two men in my house are attempting to cook spaghetti. HAHA they're so funny they have no clue what to do.

I heard bryan calling mummy to ask how to cook the spaghetti.

" Huh wait for the water to boil? Then just put in ah?"

So cute. =))

daddy's commissioning parade was cool.

We were early there so we had to wait for about an hour or so.

The parade was short but SWEET.

Everytime they stood at attention and stood at ease, the sound their boots and guns made were all synchronised. DAMN COOL. Spotted daddy and Nicole Ben Chris Joash and I were constantly trying to make him laugh after that. Heh. A few times we saw him trying to suppress his smile. FUNNY. HAHA.

Josia was in Bravo wing, we finally spotted him nearer the end of the parade.

At the end of the commissioning, when the MC voicing over officially presented the new batch of officers, they threw their hats up in the air and were all extremely happy, it was such a sight. =)

Dinner was mostly spicy so I ate very little.

Visited daddy's bunk. THEY HAVE COMPUTERS! Oh my tians. In camp. Haha.

Went home afterward and Daryl and John came over for the soccer game and supper.

Next week's the comms ball and have no clutch and accessories yet! =(

I expected myself to be super tired today.

But even though I only had 4 hours of sleep, I was quite full of energy throughout the day.

Woke up at 8, rushed to Holland Village. Jimmy took a while to look at my hair and the supervisor Mr Pro Haircutter kept asking him questions.

" Are you sure about that angle?"

" Then what about the perimeter?"

" Why are you pinching her hair?"

" Are you going to take that section?"

" Are you sure that's a point cut?"

" You might as well blunt cut the whole thing."

" Why do you want to create more problems doing a reverse scrat?"

I never met someone who sounded so professional and had done so much work on hair.

But I got my hair cut. =) And I think it's much neater. Good job, well done. =)

I'm still waiting for my bangs to grow out though. Haha.

School sent a letter with my grades to mummy.

Daddy immediately said my grades were not good at all.

Cannot go university. Next time sweep floor. Must work hard. Not acceptable.

I was happy with my MSA results. I thought it was encouraging I scored a double digit for econs for the first time in my JC life, even though it was still a U.

I scored S for lit which I thought was good already since everyone knows the Kay-minator kills.

I scored E for geog. I was happy with this one since last year I didn't exactly ace geog either. At least there is an improvement.

B for GP. Not good? I scored E last year.

The purpose of sending a letter to the parents is to try to get the parents to help motivate the child, encourage the child to work harder and find out how to improve. No?

Daddy says he was just trying to convey the message that my grades suck.

What happened to the encouragement. All he did was spoil my whole evening, make me depressed and I'm not anywhere near encouraged nor motivated.

He didn't see me study the whole of the afternoon.

I HAVE NO MORE UZAP. =(

This afternoon, Rachel was using it when she said she smelt something burning.

Then, the UZAP stopped working.

Turns out, the wire burnt and melted and broke into 2. Aw man.

Someone get me a new one!

6 bottles and 3 cans.

That's the amount of beer Daddy and Uncle Peter Leverick can finish in a dinner.

But Auntie Maggie and Uncle Patrick drink wine. So Daddy drinks it too. That means more alcohol. Tsk.

Auntie Maggie gave us a bottle of ice wine. OH YAY! =))

Shhh don't tell Elisha. HAHA. Only kidding.

I bought new swimwear! Oh my tians, 60 bucks worth.

So thats a hundred and sixty dollars worth of clothes. =((

I have $140 left to spend on food. BTs after one week of holiday means less probability I'll spend money on food in the cafe. So $140 as 6 days' worth of pocket money. THATS NOT BAD WHAT. Haha. That averages out to about $23.60 per day. WHEEE.

Luckily its the holidays!! =) I shall camp at home and survive on the RESTOCKED freezer. Heh. Anyone wants to join me? =)

I just bought a new dress!! =))

Yay! I'm so happy, even though I know I might see another 3 people wearing the same dress in a different colour. Wanna guess where I got my dress?

Sigh. The Marciano dress I wanted is not up on the racks anymore. =(

BUT I'm quite happy with my DY dress. =)

Went to Marina Square with Jonah yesterday and saw no nice dress so we went to DY at Suntec. And I liked a grey pink tube one. But today when Nana, daddy chew, Wynnie, Daryl, Malcolm and Alvin came with me, I tried another 4 dresses beside the grey pink one and my blue dress was the nicest apparently. SO I GOT IT! Heh. I tried a few red dresses, but they were not the bright red kind, kinda matured colour. Too matured for me. Luckily I didnt get it. Heh.

Now I gotta get heels clutch accessories - ( necklace, earrings). Yay big burden off my shoulders.

Ate Kenny Rogers both days. But the difference- KR ran out of chicken yesterday so Jonah and I settled for fish. I just ate one and a half side dishes. Today, I got a quarter chicken. And I wasted my side dishes. Didn't eat it except the muffin. KENNY ROGERS MUFFINS DA BOMB.

By the time we finished dinner, it was already 10 plus. Needless to say, I slept my way home. =)

Daddy Hoe said he'll pay for my heels clutch and accessories! HAHA! Cos I told him a bought my dress and it was about a hundred bucks. YAY! =)
