Cheryl's heartpains are back.
Literal ones. Not the emotional ones.

I had korean strawberries, coconut ice cream and saw one hot vj guy at the doctor's. All's well.
HAHA.
Too superficial LAH. But seriously, the vj guy looks quite cute. =p
The reason why I drag myself through school every day is because I see my friends and I see eye candies! Duh. Tell me who goes to school for 2 hours of Miss *'s lessons. Half an hour is enough for her to kill.
I slept so little in school today, it's a stark improvement.

I've been playing so much, not doing much work this weekend. But it's Sunday now and tomorrow is just 14 hours away. There is much to cover, much to complete. Short-lived fun after MSA.
Yes so my birthday is coming, but every year its no fun. Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday SATURDAY.
I have dance in the morning, gotta lead worship right after (not that I'm saying it's not fun), then the J2s and I would chill a while somewhere before we go to the airport to pick Wynnie.
Never spent a birthday quite like I dreamt of since forever.
Cos maybe no one bothers to find out, or no one knows me well enough to know what I want.
But let's not go there.
This year's birthday cannot be what I always wanted already, but it's ok. =)
Or actually, it can, but it's gonna be tough on everyone else.
This is like working on a science project for some science fair in school. You've got all your plannings roughly done and can finish building your models in no time. But then a week before the actually day, you suddenly think of another idea. Maybe better may not. But you know the judges are gonna like it better. It's gonna take you a night or two to complete the new project.
So would you rather finish your original project or do the new one?

Cheryl Hoe has excellently pulled a muscle for the first time in her life after a day of PE and dance. So she took 6 minutes to walk from the dance studio to the verandah 50m away, where her father waited for her.
Needs: Waterproof toiletries bag.
Wants: Tea toiletries bag.

Exactly like this. =)
Guess which muscle.
Heh.
Heh.
--------------------------------
Econs MSA and Geog MSA over!
Left 2 more lit MSAs and math lecture test.
Rargh.
I haven't watched TV in such a long time I feel deprived.
-------------------------------
More stuff to need. Add on to my whole list of items already on the right side of this page. =)

Monday today. Feels like a holiday. Reached school at 6 15 (thanks daddy) and I was the first student in school. Not bad eh. Haha.
I was having a bad hair day and for a fraction of a second I was quite panicky. Didn't really know what to do with hair like mine now. So I washed my hair in school and dried it under the hand dryer. Yay.
Light make up double yay. =) I'm getting used to the make up thing already. Haha. Now I can talk and eat and feel normal. I used to not open my mouth so much when I had make up on. Haha. Weird eh but yeah. ME.
Mrs Chia POWER. At Hyatt she simply requested for a holding room for the 10 of us and the hyatt people just gave us one like that! Haha. And in it was space big enough to do at least 4 full cartwheels length-wise and 3 breadth wise. Heh. Plus PLUS there was this BIG BIG basket of chocolates. HURRAY! =D Together with it were about 20 bottles of water, a whole stack of hyatt embossed paper and pens. Cool man.
Being the ever so predictable singaporeans that we were. We kopped the pens and half the paper. And drank slightly more than half the total number of bottles of water. CHOCOLATES needless to say, was the most well-received by me. Waiting for morning has broken to end already saw more than 5 wrappers in the bin. Whoops. Bye bye plan to abstain from junk. =p
Hey the time there was quite productive ok, I did a whooping total of 3 compre questions yo! Haha. Aiy. Cheryl needs to be more disciplined. Like WHAT IS THIS HUH. Blogging at 11 23. It's time to sleep and my eyes are tired!
I thought we did pulse well. I felt the ENERGY and amanda said the same. Yay. Nice nice. While dancing I saw what we looked like ( there was this HUGE flatscreen on the floor, screening whatever was on stage. Every 3 seconds the angle would be changed. I don't remember seeing more than 1 video camera set up though. )
Another reason why I said Mrs Chia POWER was because she requested for refreshments and the hyatt staff immdiately set up a private BUFFET for us 10+1 people. LIKE WOW. Impressive. I loved the food. Especially the smoked salmon quiches. I think I ate at least 6. HAHA. There were sandwiches, spring rolls, cakes and all and we had our own drink counter. Up to you to request what drink you want, up to you to do whatever you wanted to it. I had the hot version of teh bing. Haha. Teh Sio. Aiy. Just tea and skim milk can. To keep awake fr GP MSA. Rargh. More quiches thanks.
Constance said there is a converse warehouse sale. JUST NICE. I needed to get new pairs. My greys are dying. Too many holes already. Haha. Yay constance is bringing us soon! =))
Back in the dance studio's changing room, we took our time to wipe off our make up. And I did a whole lot more gp questions in 15 minutes than the hours at hyatt.
I think the dance studio's changing room is one good study area. =) Whenever I sit there I feel like studying. HAHA.
CHERYL GO SLEEP DUDE.
Eh recently there has been quite a stir in the CBDL. Go figure. In a few weeks I have heard 3 stories already. Giant, hocker, crswmmrap.
Exciting eh. Just too bad number 2 has no face. Yet.

Hosanna hosanna
Hosanna in the highest.
I thought Ignite was GOOD. Pastor Joakim (pronounced Yo-kim)'s sermons were not difficult to comprehend and he taught simple steps in reaching out to our schools. He gave many many extraordinary examples and it was really encouraging to listen to all of them.
He was right, the last session was the best and I think everyone in the whole stadium-like auditorium was touched and inspired in many different ways. And when we were singing praises, everyone felt the floor tremble and shake. That wasn't only for the last session but for all sessions. That's why they requested for people not to jump so much. First time in the history of all christian conferences were the people asked not to jump.
What I won't forget is the bell ringing at the end. The Queen of Ireland ship's bell wasn't that grand or anything. It looked like those you see at Long John Silver's ( is it?) where they place it at the entrance and ask you to ring if you were satisfied with the service. Haha.
But. The story behind the bell was touching and it moved me. What the young Salvation's Army girl told that man twice her age shocked me. It was difficult to imagine that a young girl would willingly throw across her life-vest to save the man's life and get angry when he threw it back.
"Take it. I'll die better than you."
I'll die better than you.

It's 10pm. I haven't started any work.
I have tests starting on friday which is a tad unfair since all the rest of the people in my school minus the 10 MOE dancers are starting theirs after the weekend. MEANS they have extra days to study. Ah well, sacrifices you make for being a dancer. But this is what keeps us disciplined, no?
Pressure.
I just want to hide under my duvet and sleep. I probably can't but I want to.
Too much work, too little discipline.
From tomorrow I'm gonna stick around in school till damn late at night and study, like I saw Warren and Gloria (separately) did last year.
That'll keep me off all the junk in my fridge too. Yay. Bye bye extra calories and fats.
Ok. The real complaint, I'm pissed. ( Not that whatever I just typed wasn't bothering me)
I'm pissed cos my air con leaked yesterday, destroying a couple of cards I had made and had left on the shelf. Yesterday was the first night I didn't sleep right away once my head hit the pillow.
Not that Bryan's bed wasn't comfortable. His is way more comfortable than mine, I always nap in his bed. But somehow, my mind wasn't at peace. Wasn't at rest.
You know what. I think I just have to surrender everything into His hands. What was I thinking doing LIFE by myself. All this is a journey to heaven no? And if I'm heading that way, obviously only God can give me directions. Otherwise how the toots will I know which way to go?
Ok so now I blogged all these out of my system, I can start work. 10. 28pm. Not a word closer to finishing my econs tutorial but I feel so much better now. =)
Time to wake up and smell the pen ink! Hah.

I spent half an hour on ebay, figuring out how to sell my Celia Loe Dress and when I had done everything needed, I found out I had to have some credit card or something so that I could be charged a monthly sum for selling stuff there. Rargh.
So ok, I shall publicize here, Cheryl Hoe is selling the first dress she has ever bought on her own accord. Yes yes it is a BIG honour. =)
ebay only allows 3 pictures before it starts to charge for every additional picture. So I shall upload 4 here. HAH. =p

I bought it for $130 plus, worn it once for sec 4 prom and never worn it again. Haha.
Mummy said to SELL IT since I'm not a dress/skirt person. Haha. Oh well.
OK so now I put my pitching skills to the test. Ahem.
Bought for $130.
Selling for less than HALF the price, of $60. ( Actually any price lah, I just need to sell it. So if you want it just tell me haha. )
Size 7.
It's slightly above knee-length for me. So if you're taller than I guess it would be shorter for you lah.
The bottom flares outa little as you can see from the picture.
The back of the dress is lower than the front as you can see. =)
In very good condition.
Suitable for prom, weddings, dinner etc.
Hand wash in cold water or dry clean only.
Zipper at the side, barely noticable.
Matches any coloured accessory. ( Since it's all white. HAHA.)
There is that hard wire thing in front to make your bust look fuller HAHA. (Guys can ignore this.)
So how, good enough saleswoman? Haha.
Beginning of the year is not too early to prepare for prom ok! =)
See here, if you're afraid of putting on weight in the year, don't worry. Think this way," I buy already what, so I have to maintain my weight and not grow too fat!"
Haha now you'll be trim for the rest of the year! Yay! haha.
Buy from me ok! I give you good good price no? =)

Today didn't start off very well.
I had lack of sleep since Bryan needed to go to school early. It meant starting the day earlier. Rargh.
I slept in the cafe till assembly time.
Then I met Ritchell. She was introduced to the J2s as a girl serving God with all her heart, even with so many things taken away from her.
Ritchell was born premature, at 30 weeks. She weighed 1kg and was only 35cm. She had to be put in an incubator for about 2.5 months and that took away her sense of sight.
Even then, at 3, Ritchell started to sing and at 6 she started to write songs. By 8 she had cut an album and her second album was released at 11.
Ritchell sang to us today and as she did, I heard God speaking to me, telling me to grow. I felt such warmth and peace in me, I knew that the whole place was filled with God's presence.
Then when Ritchell opened her mouth to share a short message, tears started to pour from my eyes. This 12 year old, though visually impaired, had more faith than me. She didn't have friends in school because of her conditions but that didn't stop her from loving God, from serving God.
This small-framed girl, was a giant. She reminded me that God is GOD. She didn't say how big God was of how amazing He was. But her words to us showed us how much she believed Him, how much she relied on Him, how much she rested and took comfort in Him, how much she trusted in Him, how much she loved Him. If this little girl was able to do so, that speaks something about the God she loves.
She was thankful for her abilities but she said not to be proud of them, but to be proud of God, who gave them.
" But I don't care. I love God."
" I can't see you sitting there, but I can see angels."

I slept through the second half of GP lesson and Mrs Tan's tutorial.
But other than that, I didn't sleep in class! Yay! =)
Miss K didn't scold anyone today, which is a miracle.
EVERYONE cam to class early, we girls all pinned our fringes up like nerds and the guys gelled their hair in a hairstyle like those you see in ICs of middle aged people or on TV.
Then everyone made more changes to their annotations of the blackberry picking poem and braced themselves for the lady boss.
I was telling Pris how lit lesson was like taking a flight.
You make sure you have all that you need like passport and tickets, in this case, our lit texts and properly done homework.
You make sure your attire is extremely conservative. ( If you read the papers, recently an angmoh women wasn't allowed to board a plane cos she was apparently too sexily dressed.) So in both cases, short skirts = DIE. Pants for guys gotta be high. (Best if worn below the moobs. If you have moobs.
Wait at the gate for boarding. Here in school, it means you be in class before Miss K does.
No handphones or any other commucative devices allowed throughout the flight.
Don't use your non-commucative devices until when given the green light. In lit, you don't take your pencils out to do note taking until the boss tells you to.
In case of turbulance during flight, put on your safety belt and sit tight. In lit lesson, you just make sure you sit properly, don't slouch.
In case of emergency landing, brace yourself. In Miss K's lesson, if she starts one of her scolding/blow up sessions, never look her in the eye until you're sick of living.
Now you know how early we reached the classroom before lit started. Heh. EXTREMELY.

Maybe when I said what I said, my tone was all wrong.
Or maybe when I did that, I used to wrong words.
So is that the reason why he doesn't get me?
He didn't understand the message I was sending.
Maybe I should just forget about everything, forget about him.
I'm too young for anything but God and studies anyway.
It'll be hard but I'll try.
I'll be keeping my distance. Or at least I'll try.
How ironic, that in the past, he had more than I did. But now, I think its the other way round.
Or is it?
Don't get me? Don't worry, you're not the first anyway.

3 days of school has gone.
Only 44 more weeks left.
I was so happy that it was a friday, you don't know how thankful I was.
Rachel hurt her knee before the performance and the wound started bleeding during pre performance blocking so we made a bandage for her using founation sponge, tape and my bandana. Haha. Steph cut a hole in the sponge so the wound didn't touch it and then after taping the sponge to her leg, we covered it with my bandana for support. Heh.
Dance performance at the Cultural Centre went extremely well.
Thank God.
I'm not looking forward to school. Dread it everyday.

First day of school.
I just started singing this out of nowhere.
Shepard of my soul
I give you full control
Wherever you may lead
I will follow.
I have made the choice
To listen for Your voice
Wherever you may lead
I will go.
Be it in a quiet pasture
Or by a gentle breeze
The shepard of my soul
Is by my side.
Should I face a mighty mountain
Or a valley dark and deep
The shepard of my soul
Will be my guide.
I hope this encourages you. It did for me, after only one day of school. =)

What a start to the year.
Lessons.
Bleh.
First lesson of the day was Pe. I took height and weight. Wah depressing start.
And then we had Miss K's lit tutorial. About 9/10 of my class spent it outside the classroom since we had not finished reading Pride and Prejudice. Ahh.
I can't believe I slept in Econs lecture. I tried to keep awake! I did! And a few people sent me messages to keep me awake but it wasn't enough. Heh.
Geog lecture was better. I was sleepy but didn't really doze off.
Had dance immediately after school and we danced all the way from 2.45 to 7 plus. Urgh. I'm tired. We did Tingying's dance, MOE's dance, Orientation night dance and Red's dance. Phew. Sheer exhaustion.
It's 9pm but I'm gonna do homework soon. Wow. Even I am impressed with myself. I've never started doing homework so early before. Haha.

It's 11pm and I am about to sleep. This is one of the first times I am going to be sleeping so early since sec 3.
I'm not the least bit tired or sleepy though, so I think I'll probably toss and turn in bed.
I spent the whole afternoon at home by myself and I didn't like it. The house was too quiet and scary so I raised the volume on the TV and went to do other stuff. I kept eating to fill up the void of time I had. Didn't do much work.
I hope to start off 2008 well. I'm gonna pray that I dont sleep in any lessons this week.
So, if you remember or think about me in the day, from 8 in the morning onwards once school reopens tomorrow, give me a sms or something. That would keep me awake I guess! Haha!
Conversations will be my way of staying alive in school.

Let's try to create the most boring post about one of the most interesting nights ever.
I went to Fensie jie's house for steamboat and stayover.
I ate many slices of fish, 6 pieces of liver, 3 quail's eggs, 3 slices of beef, and one fishball.
Then I had 2 cups of fruits.
After that, we all watched Hairspray.
Halfway through that, Candice and Jeanne had to go home, so Nana, Gracie, Malcolm, Wynnie, Eliel and I walked Jeanne to the bus stop, then walked Candice all the way home.
We stopped on the way back to Fensie Jie's house, at the fitness corner, after sending Candice home. Fun.
Monkey bars, pull up bars, balancing beams.
Then we walked back to Fensie Jie's house. Gracie, Nana and I sat outside the house, at the staircase landing. We just talked and enjoyed the breeze. We sang a couple of songs as well. Though we spent only a short period of time sitting there doing almost nothing, I really cherished that time we had. It gave me a sense of peace, comfort and joy.
We went into the house and watched the rest of the behind the scenes action for hairspray before opening 2 bottles of champagne. We also had at least 4 tubs of ice cream that we passed around. Shiok. Countdown countdown.
After that we went downstairs to play with sparklers. The girls played the palm pushing game ( I won Gracie twice and she finally won once. Heh.) and the guys did the same, but in push up position. I played guys style with Gracie for a while too. Fun. =)
The girls also played the scissors paper stone game around the playground. We made 2 teams and competed to see whose team made it over to the other side of the playground first. So if at the starting point, Gracie from the other team and me from my team run up the playground, we meet in the middle and play scissors paper stone. Then the losers make way for the winners to continue proceeding. The other team member from the loser's team has to hurry and meet the winner on the playground and try to win. One round is won when someone crosses over to the otherside. Fun fun. Perspired a lot. Laughed a lot. Everyone had a lot of fun.
Then Fensie Jie started to dance and I joined in for a while.
Then Wynnie asked if I could do a split and Nana and Fensie Jie started to coach me on how to do proper splits and we all talked about how to do front walks and cartwheels. It would be really cool if we could do an outreach based on dance. Or do a short film on it. =))
Finally after spending too much time downstairs, we proceeded upstairs and Eliel, Nana, Wynnie and I played bridge for a while. Jon and Malcolm came in later and we played asshole taiti. I had the worst of luck. Kept being the asshole. Darn. Haha. And most of the time when I had to give up my best 2 cards to the king of the previous round, I could only give 10s and 9s. Not even picture cards. Haha.
After a few rounds of asshole taiti, we reverted back to bridge and I played till I was knocked out. Too tired to even open my eyes I guess. I woke up at 10 plus in the morning, ate breakfast and played with the Usqueez for a while before I went back to sleep till 12 plus when everyone was about to leave.
Back home, mummy was surprised to see me. She expected me back late at night only. Mummy went off to play mahjong and daddy was already at TMCC playing 18 holes. Bryan wasn't back so that left me.
So now I am at home alone. Blogging in a boring manner to fit my mood now, about yesterday, one of the best days I've had. =)
